Growing up, And Family Extenstions. Violet's Point of View;

Violet's P.O.V;

This week was going to be amazing. I didn't know why, it just was. I could feel it. To start the day I went swimming, and then headed over to the play structure and hung out on there for a bit. I could hear mom trying to teach Nolan how to talk.

By the looks of things, it wasn't going to good.

I had heard about a meeting at the local stables letting young riders try out some horses. I of course had to go! I snuck out to the truck that was in the garage, and headed out. Mom didn't see me.

When I got there, I chose this young pinto. She hadn't really jumped before, but it was the one thing I knew how to do.

I was only kind of nervous to go on her... She was really jumpy and knocked over every jumo we went over! I couldn't help but bounce around in the saddle. I hadn't ridden in years...

Getting off wasn't my best skill... I had only decided to leave because I had heard that a new family had moved into town and their son was my age. Hopefully he was cute too.

Boy, I was right! He was cute! We started talking, and then I had to go home before mom noticed anything.

I snuck in the side door because I saw a huge cover on the front of the house going off to the side, so I figured mom was around that area. I went upstairs to paint so it would have seemed like I had been up there the entire night.

I had had enough of the noise that was outside, so I ran out to see this giant barn beside the house! I  guessed mom had seen me sneak off, and I must have dropped the memo I got about the meeting.

There was a spot out back for a horse, and...

a jumping arena! I was so excited I ran inside the barn to see...

In the only stall my very own horse! Her name is Mocha and she's an Appaloosa, and she's been trained for jumping especially.

I walked up to the stall, and saw that she also had her own tack. So I got her saddled, and brought her out to the arena to see what she could do.

With my earlier practice, we were flying over the small rails in no time.

Just remembering something mom? Haha, surprise camera shot!

Nolan was being very quiet, and keeping to himself. I also noticed that the older he was getting, the more his hair was changing! His hair is long now, and it's more red than before.

I had gone over to the new kid's house (who I later learned is named Sam) and we started flirting. Then his family had to go out, so I went home to get Mocha.

I rode her over to get bred so I could have some foals. I was really excited, but right as I was heading into the barn, I heard sirens coming from behind me and then there was a cop yelling at me. That's the last time I leave home without a watch.

So I was driven home by the cop, and the entire time I was thinking about what I was gonna say to mom when I got home. And of course she was waiting for me.

My eyes got wide. I had never been yelled at like she did to me.

Without anything else, she told me to go to my room and spend the rest of the weekend in there. But that didn't stop me...

I had asked Sam if he wanted to meet me at the park around dusk. He did, and I told him how much I liked him, and he liked me too. We agreed to go out, and we kissed.

We held hands, and I invited him home.
Mom realized that I had snuck out again, and she had accpeted the fact that I was a teenager and I had to see Sam.

Mom had gone out and got her hair colour changed to try and get a different colour of hair in the baby, or babies. That had meant that she was certain she was gonna be pregnant in the next couple days.

I met Sam outside, and we instantly held hands. I gazed into his eyes and knew that I loved him. He asked if we could age up together, then told me he loved me.

So I went up to my mom, and told her how much I loved Sam, and even asked if we could age up together into young adults.
She agreed!

I went first, and mom was so happy. She couldn't stop clapping!

I made my wish, and then I aged up into a young adult.

I looked at mom, and she was blowing on the birthday kazoo. We couldn't help but hug, and she didn't let go until some stomach pains arrived.

She was obviously nauseous, which meant she was expecting. Nolan was quite amused when I took this picture.

Sam went next, and he was, well, beautiful! His muscles, and his height... I was so in love with him! He grabbed some cake, and sat down with the rest of the family. I stayed in the kitchen because I wasn't to hungry.

I looked over at the family, and at Sam as he laughed when mom told him stories. I knew he was the one. I was going to marry him.

We instantly embraced, and he gazed into my eyes. I looked into his, and admired the soft lilac colour of his eyes. If we have kids together, I hope they have his eyes...

I couldn't help but smile! I had decided it was time, and braved up. I knew that most guys were supposed to do this, but he would never have, so I had to instead.

I knelt down on one knee, and proposed to Sam! He was really excited. I couldn't wait until we were married and starting a life of our own.

We hugged, and then kissed, and kissed some more. I was so excited, and so was he.

Congrats to Violet Skeeter and Sam Grenada!
Sorry for this post being really late. I was busy, and you know. Christmas break is hectic! I wanted to do this one in Violet's point of view, and just so you know, Austynn IS pregnant with baby number 4, and she should be due within the next chapter!
Thanks for reading!

  1. Aww, I loved this post! I love how you wrote it in Violet's point of view. Violet and Sam are so cute together and it was sweet of Austynn to get Violet her own horse! Mocha is an adorable name for an Appaloosa.
